Registration/Sign-in
Important!
Notifications regarding your case will be
sent to your e-mail. Therefore please use an e-mail address during the
registration, that you check often.
2. step
Choose application for residence permit, then study or student mobilty.
3. step
Essential questions:
First application or
extension? Exempt from payment or not?
o
Setup
for extension of residence permit
Due to a change in the law, the extension of the document cannot be selected when applying, you can choose only the NO option.
Procedure is free of
charge in the following cases:
1. a)issue
of residence permit or extension of residence permit of Ukrainian citizens
2. b)issue
of residence permit or extension of residence permit
for purpose of studies, or employment of Belorussian citizens
3. c)applications for issue or extension of residence permits for purpose
of studies of those, who receive Hungarian
State Scholarship e.g. Stipendium Hungaricum,
or the ones who have study-purpose ministerial sponsorship
Important!
if none of the above
mentioned conditions are applicable in your case you have to choose
„no”!
Extension: if you would like to extend a
previous residence permit, that is still valid.
First application: if you apply for your first
residence permit.
4. step
Give your general data
Fill
out all of the obligatory fields.
o
Please
avoid the use of special characters (eg. „ä”)
o Use your mother’s maiden name (full name at her birth).
o
The
planned duration time might be maximum three years.
o Save!
5. step
Indicate your purpose of staying in
Hungary
then fill out all of
the mandatory fields
6. step
Upload all the mandatory enclosure to your
Enter Hungary case
o
an ID
size colourful photo which is not older than 6 months.
o
Full
copy of valid passport. (empty pages excluded)
o
School
Certificate regarding the current semester
o
Scholarship
certificate, if you have (Hungarian State Scholarship e.g. Stipendium
Hungaricum)
o
Proof
of payment of the tuition fee (if your procedure is not free of charge)
o
Certificate
about the credits earned during studies
o
Bank balance
statement, if it is not under your name, please attach support letter as well.
o
Health
insurance.
o Accommodation report signed by both parties (downloadable from: Forms )
During
the upload, please follow the following steps:
· 1. step: click on „upload”
· 2. step: Select the file andupload it.
IMPORTANT:
during this step you upload the file only
to your storage, NOT to your case!
· 3. step: Choose the file
You
have to select the type and give a name to the document. Under the „Name” of
the document you can select the file that you want to upload. (In this example
the file has been already selected and the name of it is „Esztike”) After you
have selected the file, click on „upload”.
7. step
Click on the „SUBMIT” button to start your
online procedure! After this, your application is submitted.
Important:
There will be 4 main steps, until the case starts.

1. submitted
·
2. recorded
·
3. delivered
·
4. received (reception)
1. „SUBMITTED” only means, that your applicasion has
been sent to the authority.
2. You will get a notification about recording
request! At this point (if you have not already) you shall submit a
high-quality photograph.
3. After this, when the authirity accepts the
application, you will get a notification on delivery acceptance.
4. Please remember, that your case only starts after
the notification of reception! An application shall be considered received only
after you:
a) have paid the application fee (if the proceeding is
subject to a fee); and
b) your facial likeness and fingerprint has been taken
at the latest within 15 days of the date of notification on delivery
acceptance.
