Information on the reimbursement of procedural fee paid unduly in an immigration procedure
Let me inform you that
you have the oportunity to apply for the reimbursement of procedural fee paid
unduly in an immigration procedure (e.g.
if you have paid the wrong fee, if you are not entitled to submit an
application, or if you have submitted an application for issuing a permit
instead of an extension, etc.)
The application may be
submitted to the authority in person, via post or via e-papír. In each of these cases the application form
must be attached, filled out with the
personal details of the applicant (name,
date of birth, mother's name, case/EH number).
You
must attach:

the proof of payment, or
·
in case of technical interruption, the
note you have received from the authorities; and furthermore
·
if you are acting through a
representative, the power of attorney for the case.
Please
note that the reason for requesting a reimbursement must always be explained in throughout
details on the application form!
In case of technical
interruptions, please provide further details (e.g. failure to appear before
the authority within the time limit, wrong application uploaded into
EnterHungary, whitdrawing the application, etc.)!
Please note that
the refundable amount can only be transferred to a hungarian bank account or a hungarian address of residence/accommodation. If the bank
account is not owned by the applicant, the form must be accompanied by a declaration
of consent by means of a statement executed in a private document representing
conclusive evidence or an authentic instrument, with Hungarian or English
translation.
Please note that it is not possible to reimburse the procedural fee into a bank account located in a third country (e.g. Revolut, Wise)!
